Guidance
-
We’re at Leward Bay Marina in Wilmington, California about 15 minutes from both San Pedro and Long Beach.
There is a ramp into the marina that can become a steep and slippery climb at low tide and on rainy days. And another small ramp that leads to the restaurant. While we are fully wheelchair accessible and make every effort to accommodate all our guests, people with mobility challenges should take particular care and call us for further guidance if in doubt.
If you’re coming in by boat, The Barge has a single 40’ end-tie at the dock nearest the front of the restaurant.

We get particularly busy during the weekends and on holidays with waits that often approach an hour or more. When arriving during these times, you’ll be asked to put your name on a list and wait in the area at the bottom of the ramp that leads to the restaurant. This is an uncovered area. There is no option to wait either inside the restaurant or on the patio and we can’t serve drinks until you are seated for dining.
-
We share the marina with residents and others that keep their boats docked here. Please be respectful of their right to privacy, peace and quiet and stay only in the public areas.

We’ve had a long and successful history of working with location people and production companies that want to bring a bar/restaurant or waterfront scene to life.
With appearances in Inherent Vice, Bloodline, Homecoming, I know What You Did Last Summer, Sons of Anarchy, Bad Monkey (season 2) and others, we know how to make it easy.
